Creating engaging content is all about the details. Now you can visualize how your podcast episodes, blog posts, and videos will look across different devices – from desktop to mobile – without leaving the editor. This real-time preview capability ensures your content looks perfect everywhere, enhancing the professional appearance of your website.
In the past when you’ve edited episodes or videos, there was a long form crowded with different fields, options and settings. And don’t worry – nothing has changed besides streamlining the editing experience and improving your flow. The show notes (and transcript) can now be edited in full screen, and all your settings are still available in the sidebar panel:

Why This Matters
We explored the idea of improving the episode/video editing experience for a while. Ever since we introduced the new editor last summer, with a new and improved content editor and blog editor – we felt that the episode and video screens needed a facelift.
This new improvement came to life after a lot of testing and user feedback – it’s bridging the gap between what you see in the dashboard and how your website looks. It helps streamlining the editing experience while giving you a full preview at any given point. No more publishing, checking, then returning to the editor screen.
Furthermore, now that the episode and video editors feature the new layout, we offer a fully unified experience across blog posts, episodes, and videos. This makes much sense and will get you more comfortable hopping between different content types. (Yes – the page builder editor is still different, but that makes sense since it’s more of a design tool with more granular control over the layout.)
The new editor interface includes a sleek sidebar for all your content settings, metadata and SEO settings, with your main content area taking center stage.
The new preview button lets you instantly see how your content will appear to your audience.
When you click the preview button, a modal opens showing your content in its published state – complete with your site’s header, styling, and footer. Toggle between device sizes to ensure your content looks perfect on every screen.
For podcast episodes and videos, you’ll see exactly how your media player, show notes, and transcript will display. For blog posts, preview how your featured images, text formatting, and category tags come together in the final published version.
