So, what are your favorite new shows? I really liked the pilot of Lucky 7, but it already got canceled, which totally sucked... so now there's nothing new that I really love. Only things I'm watching in the hope that they improve.

I only watched one episode of SHIELD and one of Sleepy Hollow, but they were both good. I haven't had time to keep watching though, too much work. Of course Lucky 7 got canceled so I can forget about that one. I didn't like The Goldbergs, too much yelling....

Had to share this - of course it got me thinking about spending the next ten hours on YouTube trying to find other scenes to cut into this OITNB scene...any suggestions off the top of your head?

There's got to be a cut scene with Mrs. Patmore from Dowton and Red having a standoff about the menu

Now that the Fall TV premiere is on our heels, which shows are on the bubble for you? When I say "on the bubble", I mean "This is the last chance for this show or else I'm done watching."

I'll try American Horror Story again, but last season I gave up half way, I just couldn't keep watching. That also happened with season 1. I already quit Glee towards the end of last season. I'm still feeling ok with my decision.

    • heidi garinger posted

I quit glee after season 1...also stopped watching bones last season. A baby and domestic life killed it for me. It didn't feel like the same show anymore. So far I'm sticking with the rest! Can't wait for scandal!

You guys, the Emmys are on Sunday! I don't know about you, but I for one LOVE me a good award show (celebrities! dresses! awkward red carpet interviews!), and The Emmys have always been my favorite because TV is my favorite. Of course as always, I'm going into the Emmy's a little bitter about some of the more obnoxious omissions from the nominee list (Parks!! Tatiana!! Monica Potter!! Jennifer Carpenter!!), but there are still plenty of people I love in the running, and with NPH at the helm, it's bound to be a good time win or lose, right? So what are you most excited about? Who are you pulling for? Who are you hoping/excited to see on the red carpet?

I'll start by saying that I adore every single lady in the lead comedy category, but if somebody doesn't give Amy Poehler a fucking award soon I'm going lose my absolute shit. I'm also pretty ready for Modern Family to cede their perma-victories in EVERY comedy category. We get it Emmys, you love Modern Family, we do too, but there are a lot of great comedies on television, and it's time to share the love. Similarly, and I hope you won't revoke my lesbian card for saying it, but there are a lot of deserving ladies in the supporting drama actress category whose names don't start with an M and end with an -aggie Smith... John Stewart can keep his awards though. Give him all the awards. Except for Amy's.

All right, we chatted about what we're hoping to see this fall on our TV screens, now it's your turn. What's on your wish list? http://www.afterellen.com/leslie-shay-swan-queen-and-santana-our-fall-tv-wish-list/09/2013/

    • Daphna posted

The things you listed would probably get me to go back to Once Upon A Time after giving up on it. For The Good Wife I just wish Alicia and Kalinda would go back to being friends. They were so good for each other. I'd enjoy a lesbian on Nashville. A woman singing about women and working on breaking into showbiz would be fun to watch.

I'm begging the Chicago Fire writers to get rid of that Shay baby storyline. It's just so out of character for her. Homegirl needs some lovin' to make her forget all about the baby nonsense.

Ugh, I'm so pissed. Hufflepuff that I am, I have THE hardest time giving up completely on shows I once loved, (15 seasons of ER, y'all. 15 seasons.) but after last season I decided to officially walk away from Suburgatory, and frankly I felt fucking awesome about that decision. Then they go and book Lindsey, and Lindsey goes and tweets about working with Allie Grant... WHY IN THE NAME OF PAIGE MCCULLERS AND ISABELLE HODES, WHYYYYYYY??

    • Daphna posted

I know how you feel Leora. I've had that happen to me before too. It took me forever to decide to quit Supernatural and then they went and brought Amber Benson back and I couldn't stop watching. I quit right after her episode.

Guys, I've got a fan fiction idea noodling around in my head. I might just write it myself, but I don't trust myself to actually get it done, and this is an idea that NEEDS to happen. Since I'm sensing I'm not the only Gilmore Girls fan in this Room, someone please help me out and write this fic: (Just promise to give me credit!) Luke is actually a butch lesbian named Daisy. Lorelai didn’t want to marry Christopher because she realized she didn’t want to marry a MAN, and the Gilmores kicked her out not because she got pregnant out of wedlock, but because she came out as a lesbian. Other than that, everything’s pretty much the same. Oh, and while I'm asking for things, please make it really, really smutty :) (In case you didn't know, the character of Luke was originally intended to be a woman named Daisy, until one of the producers told ASP that there were "too many chicks" running around Stars Hollow, so she added some testosterone in the form of one Luke Danes. Not a bad decision, in the end, but it could have gone so differently!)

    • Stefanie posted

Luke was also only supposed to be in the pilot.

I think what they're going for is: Emily is scared of breaking up once they graduate so she's pulling away (though she loves Paige) and Paige is trying not to respect her wishes, which is why she's not pushing...
